The 2027 World Athletics Championships will take place in Beijing, China, from September 11 to 19, 2027 at the iconic Beijing National Stadium, commonly known as the “Bird’s Nest.” This marks the second time Beijing will host the prestigious event, having previously welcomed the world’s top athletes in 2015.

The return of the championships to Beijing highlights the city’s continued prominence on the global athletics stage and its capacity to host world-class sporting events.
